Convention season is busy season, Save Jerseyans.
Tonight at the Passaic Screening Committee:
- Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno prevailed over Jack Ciattarelli for the line.
- Passaic Clerk Kristin Corrado overcame Bergen Chairman Paul DiGaetano in the LD40 Senate fight.
- Former Councilman John McCann upset incumbent State Senator Gerry Cardinale for Passaic’s LD39 backing.
- Challenger Hank Lyon TIED Betty Lou DeCroce (i) for LD26 Assembly. Jay Webber (i) easily won the panel’s assent. Lyon and DeCroce will need to come back for a tiebreaker. The prize? Prime ballot position this June in West Milford, the district’s second most populous municipality.
Guadagno now has four lines (Hudson, Warren, Passaic and Ocean) to Ciattarelli’s one (Somerset).
