The Republican state senator from New Jersey’s swing 16th Legislative District leads his opponent on the morning Election Day, Save Jerseyans.
He’s up by 1,400 with only the provisional ballots and Princeton VBM outstanding.
It’s a win, albeit a bitter one, given that last night’s Democrat statewide landslide took out Bateman’s running mates and resulted in a net Democrat Assembly gain of +1 in Bateman’s district.
