It’s been a rough pre-Christmas week for Andy Kim, Save Jerseyans.
The Democrat who hopes to upset U.S. Rep. Tom MacArthur (R, NJ-03) next November already embarrassed himself be lying (and politicizing sick children) to score political points.
Next up: the most tone deaf campaign logo in modern New Jersey political history?
The eastern portion of New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District which Kim hopes to represent contains (most) of Ocean County, one of the hardest hit targets of the 2012 super-storm “Sandy.” The wounds are still fresh and, for many families and small businesses, the process of recovery is STILL underway.
So Andy Kim chose THIS for his logo:
–
Great job on the new campaign logo @AndyKimNJ – #OceanCounty will love the daily reminders of Hurricane Sandy when driving past your signs next year. @OceanCountyGOP @NJGOP @SaveJersey pic.twitter.com/IhmUppua9C

Yikes! Really??
How does a “serious” campaign miss that?
I guess the copy-checker was on vacation whenever Kim’s consultant burped out that signage?
“Great job on the new campaign logo @AndyKimNJ – #OceanCounty will love the daily reminders of Hurricane Sandy when driving past your signs next year,” trolled Chris Russell, MacArthur’s campaign strategist.
Let’s hope the DCCC doesn’t get wise and try to find a replacement for (S)Andy Kim, Save Jerseyans; it’s only December, and the Kim campaign is doing most of Russell’s work for him. That’s good news for the good guys.
