TRENTON, N.J. — Assemblyman Vince Mazzeo (D-2) is among the New Jersey legislators presently pushing a universal beach smoking ban in the legislature, one which doesn’t provide for enforcement and, some say, is just another unfunded mandate.
On Wednesday, Save Jersey Blogger-in-Chief Matt Rooney joined the Fox29/My9 Chasing News team’s A+ Panel and host Bill Spadea to opine on this latest nanny state idea.
“People like Vince Mazzeo are the reason why this state is so expensive and people can’t stay here, yet he’s so worried about policing what people do here,” Rooney said, pointing out that Mazzeo’s district has had one of the nation’s worst foreclosure rates.
