MANCHESTER, NH — Phil Murphy’s most high profile endorsement of 2016 is hundreds of miles away, in New Hampshire, were the New Jersey Governor is endorsing Levi Sanders, the son of Bernie Sanders, in the young Democrat’s uphill run for Congress in a lean-right district.
Levi isn’t a sure thing in the race, making the ambitious Murphy’s decision to wade in on Sanders’s son’s side an interesting political calculation.
