MORE MURPHY PERSONNEL PROBLEMS: Resigned official faced sexual misconduct allegation

TRENTON, N.J. — Governor Phil Murphy’s hiring decisions came under fresh scrutiny on Wednesday evening.

Politico-New Jersey is reporting tonight that a Murphy Administration official who recently resigned his post had been investigated for sexual misconduct during the official’s tenure working on the 2017 Murphy for Governor campaign

Former Schools Development Authority Chief of Staff Albert J. Alvarez’s taxpayer-financed position paid $140,000 per year. Click here to read the full story.

Unflattering and downright disturbing personnel issues are becoming the norm for the Murphy Administration.

Another official recently resigned from the Department of Education after it came to light that the Murphy Administration had broken the law by hiring him since the official in question, a former councilman, had done jail time after taking bribes.

The last week, as a direct result of a Save Jersey story, a Murphy aide was suspended for ten days without pay for calling evangelicals “assholes” (and worse) in a series of social media posts.
