New Jersey’s Bruce Springsteen has made a career (and a fortune) out of singing working man ballads.
The Boss (an arch-liberal) doesn’t see anyone who is poised — at the moment — to topple Donald Trump in 2020.
“I don’t see anyone out there at the moment… the man who can beat Trump, or the woman who can beat Trump,” Springsteen told the U.K.’s Sunday Times Magazine, lamenting that Democrats do not “have an obvious, effective presidential candidate” who can effectively “speak the same language” as the populist incumbent President Trump.
