REPORT: Glen Rock schools believe images of U.S. military heroes holding guns are offensive

GLEN ROCK, N.J. — The New Jersey American Legion’s ‘Americanism Award’ coloring contest is an annual tradition for Garden State 4th and 5th graders.

According to NorthJersey.com, public schools in the trending-blue Bergen County suburb of Glen Rock are opting out this year reportedly because the following image (see below) includes guns:
