Kim, Malinowski vote against protecting the Internet from new taxes

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Andy Kim (D, NJ-03) and Tom Malinowski (D, NJ-07) are pro-Internet taxes.

On Wednesday, the New Jersey Democrat Congressmen opposed an attempt by the GOP minority to ban any new internet taxes, voting against a Republican motion to recommit ahead of final passage of the ‘Save the Internet Act,’ legislation designed to return to Obama era net neutrality regulations.

“Tom Malinowski and the socialist Democrats have never met a tax hike they didn’t like,” opined NRCC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Malinowski’s vote to tax the internet sets a dangerous precedent that is sure to stifle innovation and increase costs for New Jersey families.”
