WASHINGTON, D.C. – Attorney General William Barr went out in front of the cameras on Thursday to answer questions about the Mueller Report ahead of the release of a redacted version of the full report. Disappointed by the initial disclosure’s lack of negative findings where President Trump is concerned, Democrats were quick to attack anticipated redactions contained in the Special Counsel’s report.
“No one outside the Department has seen the unredacted report,” said Barr, noting the only exception was certain intelligence officials. Barr also said Congress would have the opportunity to remove an unredacted version with only grand jury information omitted.
