WESTFIELD, N,J. – State Senator Tom Kean Jr. brought in another $430K during quarter three; that means he has raised close to $1 million for his 7th Congressional District primary.

“This campaign has tremendous momentum and I am so grateful for all of the support,” said Senator Kean. “We have over 200 local New Jersey endorsements and the support of Leader Kevin McCarthy and former Speaker New Gingrich. I am running for Congress because we want our nation’s future to be bright and secure. Together, with our supporters we can keep our country on the right path, and New Jersey can lead the way.”

His primary rival Rosemary Becchi raised $387,000 in July, August and September.

Kean also says 57% of his donations thus far have come from supporters donating under $200.

Despite then-GOP Congressman Leonard Lance’s 2018 loss in the district, Republicans still boast a slim 5,000 partisan registration advantage there.
