Avalon, Stone Harbor will reopen their beaches on Friday morning

STONE HARBOR, N.J. – An especially condescending Governor Phil Murphy refused to discuss reopening timelines on Tuesday, but two iconic Jersey Shore towns are moving forward without him.

In a joint Monday press release, the mayors of Avalon and Stone Harbor announced that they would reopen their beaches for non-stationary activities (like running and fishing) only.

No sunbathing is allowed (for now):
