N.J.’s unemployment rate hit 15.3% in April 2020

TRENTON, N.J. – New Jersey’s unemployment rate hit 15.3% in April 2020 according to a new estimate from the U.S. Department of Labor.

757,700 non-farm jobs were shed in a single month; the leisure and hospitality sector represented nearly 1 out of every 3 jobs lost (236,500).
