A red wave doesn’t happen without preparation, Save Jerseyans.
Towards that end, New Jersey Republican Party and the Republican National Committee have logged 3 million voter contacts ahead of this week’s primary voter registration deadline.
“Ahead of the primary election, Republican momentum is soaring in New Jersey with voters ready to hold Democrats accountable for their constant, costly failures,” RNC Spokesperson Rachel Lee tells Save Jersey. “Three million voter contacts is just the beginning for our Victory Team, who will not be outworked and is registering voters, mobilizing activists, and remains fully focused on turning out the vote across the Garden State.”
Among the places Republicans have ventured to recruit: gas stations where prices continue to hit new highs on an almost daily basis.
The RNC also reports having generated 17,600 volunteer engagements.
Republicans are eagerly targeting at least three New Jersey U.S. House seats – NJ-3 (Kim), NJ-05 (Gottheimer) and NJ-07 (Malinowski) – and Republicans only need to flip five seats nationwide to reclaim Nancy Pelosi’s gavel.
2021 gubernatorial nominee and Murphy challenger Jack Ciattarelli carried NJ-07 last fall and lost NJ-03 and NJ-05 by only 1-point a piece.
Democrats still enjoy a 1+ million statewide registration advantage, but that gap is (very) slowly narrowing on a monthly basis ever since Joe Biden ascended to the presidency.
