Van Drew’s campaign suggests YouTube removal of Save Jersey video may be retaliation

Would it be so unbelievable at this point, Save Jerseyans?

Congressman Jeff Van Drew (R, NJ-02) fumed on Tuesday after YouTube took down SaveJersey.com’s video of President Trump endorsing him Mar-a-Lago back in December  2021.

“I am honored to be running for re-election as New Jersey’s ONLY Trump Endorsed Conservative and it’s going to take a Hell of a lot more than some tech executives 3,000 miles away in Silicon Valley to stop us from getting that message out right here in South Jersey,” said Van Drew.

“Sadly, this is exactly the type of censorship Conservatives have come to expect from Big Tech and why I have been speaking out so forcefully on national television and fighting so aggressively to stop the Biden Administration’s new ‘Ministry of Truth’ within the Department of Homeland Security,” the Congressman added. “These are strategies and tactics you would expect to see employed in the former Soviet Union or by Communist China to silence political opponents – not here in the United States of America.”

The Congressman’s campaign thinks there might be more at work than the run-of-the-mill discrimination against conservative points of view.

In its release, the Van Drew campaign pointed out how “the video was posted in December 2021, but only declared misinformation this past week after Congressman Van Drew publicly called for Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas to resign and blasted the Biden Administration’s new national Disinformation Czar Nina Jancowicz on national television.”

Van Drew famously switched parties in December 2019 after opposing the first attempt to impeach President Trump; he was one of only two Democrat congressman to vote against the articles.
