N.J.’s formula out-of-stock rate reaches 73%

New Jersey’s formula out-of-stock rate hit 73% at the end of last week, Save Jerseyans, 1-point lower than the national average of 74%. That’s small consolation for young Garden State parents who continue to struggle to find sufficient supplies – or the correct kind of specialized formula – to feed their babies.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden has now all but admitted that he was missing in action as the nationwide formula shortage developed.

“Biden said Wednesday that he wasn’t told about the crisis until “early April,” but [WH Press Secretary] Jean-Pierre — during a second day of grilling about the timeline of the crisis — said he actually became aware in “late Apri,” the NY Post reported Thursday. “She then backtracked and refused to say who told Biden, who waited until mid-May to invoke federal powers as parents became increasingly desperate.”

The Administration also announced additional overseas airlifts in a late-in-time effort to alleviate the shortage.
