State Senator Jon Bramnick (R-21) is known for siding with Murphy Democrats over his own party. He’s a Liz Cheney Republican (except much less conservative), so it wasn’t shoking on Friday morning when he rushed to the embattled Wyoming congresswoman’s defense on Twitter.
“I am very proud of Congresswoman Liz Cheney,” Bramnick tweeted on the morning after Round #1 of the January 6th hearings. “We as Americans and as Republicans who support the rule of law must stand with her. We should have no fear to search for the facts about January 6th.”

Cheney, who serves as vice-chair of the politically-motivated and highly-produced committee, accused Trump of trying to execute a “sophisticated seven-point plan” during her opening remarks on Thursday evening but supplied scant details to support her claim.
Imagine if Jon Bramnick was 50% as concerned with investigating N.J. nursing home deaths?
Inflation?
Gas prices?
An economy teetering toward recession?
Radical sexual lessons coming to our kids’ classrooms beginning in September?
The threats made against Justice Kavanaugh which came about as a result of Democrat rhetoric? Threats which Bramnick has NOT tweeted about?
You know… anything currently impacting Americans as opposed to a riot (among hundreds) from 1 1/2 years ago!
But then Governor Murphy would stop attending his backyard hangouts. Life is full of choices, folks, and Jon Bramnick is making interesting ones.
