Senate Democrats killed a legislative probe into New Jersey nursing home deaths back in May, Save Jerseyans, but two months later, their Assembly colleagues are apparently ready for a thorough and hard hitting look into…
…Ticketmaster pricing?
According to New Jersey Globe, Assembly Democrats will hold hearings into allegations of price gouging by Ticketmaster after a widely-reported public uproar over insane Bruce Springsteen/E Street Band concert pricing.
It’s believe 10,000 or more New Jersey nursing home residents and staff members died during the Covid-19 pandemic representing one of the country’s worst per capita death rates. A federal probe is still open concerning deaths at two state-run veterans’ facilities.
One Republican State Senator couldn’t help but comment on the priorities of the other side of the aisle.
“Let me get this straight…we’re going to hold hearings over concert ticket pricing…but not nursing home polices that resulted in thousands of deaths or health care/insurance policies set to deliver the largest worker & gov’t insurance cost increases in decades. Got it!” tweeted Declan O’Scanlon R-13).
