We keep hearing the same excuse concerning Phil Murphy’s new highly-sexualized and radical health curriculum for young New Jersey students: there’s just standards! In other words, you have nothing to fear from widespread reports of incredibly cringy sample materials.
The NJEA is even running an ad – first reported by SaveJersey.com – labeling parents who question this stuff as “extremists.”
Don’t fall for it, Save Jerseyans.
Take a look at the proposed curriculum for Old Bridge public schools which was released ahead of a Curriculum and Special Services meeting scheduled for Monday.
3rd Graders (as young as 8-years-old) will be elected to “explain common human sexual development and the role of hormones (e.g., romantic and sexual feelings, masturbation, mood swings, timing of pubertal onset)” as well as “identify trusted adults, including family members, caregivers, school staff, and health care professionals, whom students can talk to about relationships and ask questions about puberty and adolescent health.”
8-year-olds. Not 8th Graders.
Anti-science trans ideology is on the menu, too; youngsters will learn to “differentiate between sexual orientation and gender identity.”
It’s happening, folks, and districts failing to adequately comply (and we still don’t fully understand what that looks like) beginning in fall 2022 will face repercussions from the Murphy Administration.
The only question here is whether you – as taxpayers/parents/humans who care about kids – are going to sit back and let this happen without using every tool at your disposal to fight back.
