Democrat Governor Phil Murphy made New Jersey a sanctuary state, and Assembly Majority Whip Carol Murphy (D-7) (no relation) of Mount Laurel is all about it.
Hence, it boggles the mind why she’s pissed at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for giving a group of 50 illegals a free vacation in Martha’s Vineyard. Isn’t this what she and her fellow Leftists wanted? DeSantis and Texas’s Abbott are simply giving blue states an opportunity to put up or shut up.
Logic be damned (since politics governs all), Murphy accused DeSantis of “human trafficking” on Monday and introduced AR-162, a resolution condemning the likely 2024 Republican presidential candidate. It’s a familiar talking point of the Left, but Murphy’s resolution could be interpreted as a sign of increased Democrat confidence that DeSantis may be the man to beat in 2024.
No vote has been scheduled… yet.
