Americans who still frequent legacy news outlets in 2022 can gorge themselves on a steady diet of “Election Denier” stories. Yes, there are people out there who still believe in 2020’s Kraken conspiracy theory, but this derisive label has since been applied to pretty much anyone who questions how our flawed elections function… or fail to properly function. We’re told these fellow Americans are a “threat to democracy” – almost as vile as “Climate Change Deniers.”
But what about Recession deniers? Who are legion, by the way!
We’re already in a recession. The until-recently-unchallenged definition remains “two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth,” and the U.S. economy just did exactly that. Yet because serving the Democrat Party’s best interests trumps fair and honest reporting, a simple Google search reveals an endless supply of stories heading into Election 2022 warning of a LIKELY or possible coming recession. My favorite is Bloomberg which pegs the probability of a coming recession at 100%. That’s sort of like declaring the chance of snow is 100% after it’s already starting falling – not very impressive if you ask me.
These stories come to use from the same outlets which, in a self-described quest to combat fake news, produce the aforementioned Election denier articles. The Biden Administration won’t admit we’re in a recession so their media/academia allies are towing the line and, in the process, making themselves seem more ridiculous than usual.
The electoral consequences for Democrats are likely to be severe. Yes, the Democrats.
It’s not hard to see why, folks. Ultimately, swing voters prefer candidates who identify with their read of reality. Right now, perception and reality are on the same page: inflation-battered Americans believe the economy is in deep shit (because it is). A small parade of polling finds Americans believing the economy is in trouble (because it is). And guess what? A recent New York Times/Siena College poll found 44% reporting economic concerns as the nation’s most pressing problem, and those voters preferred the GOP in 2022 by a 2-to-1 margin (because they’re not stupid).

Democrats – politicians, presidents, economists, and “journalists” alike – won’t accept the reality of a major economic downturn that Americans are already well aware of because they’ve been living it all year.
Those same Americans, disgusted by the Left’s insulting denial of their country’s current condition, will go to the polls and doom the Dems’ majority this cycle. Anyone surprised by the coming wave is as detached from reality as the Democrats about to lose their jobs.
