Amid a Murphy Administration legal and intimidation campaign designed to thwart the U.S. Supreme Court’s Bruen decision, New Jersey are still seeking and obtaining concealed carry permits.
The latest recipient: state Senator Ed Durr (R-3), better known as “Ed the Trucker.”
“Officially a concealed carry permit holder!” tweeted Durr’s official Twitter account on Thursday. “One of many reasons Senator Durr ran for office was to have the constitutional right to bear arms, specifically #CCW. No doubt we have more work ahead to fix #NJ #2A laws. As for today, it is definitely monumental.”

Governor Murphy recently signed legislation to undercut the Bruen decision, but substantial portions of the new law were halted by a federal judge while litigation over the gun control regime plays out.
