Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R, NJ-02) kicked off his first day on the House Judiciary Committee with a bang, Save Jerseyans, laying into the Biden Administration and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Mayorkas for abandoning the crisis at the U.S.-Mexican Border.
“I’ve had the opportunity to ask [Secretary Mayorkas] questions a number of times when I was on the Homeland Security Committee, and the guy doesn’t tell the truth,” said Van Drew during his remarks. “Nobody wants to say that openly, but I will: the guy’s a liar. He does not tell the truth, and when he tells you he’s going to look at something, he doesn’t. When he tells you he’s going to do something, he doesn’t.”
The South Jersey congressman also dived into the ways in which Joe Biden’s border record compare unfavorably to former President Trump’s record.
