LISTEN: Attorney explains N.J. school district’s battle over “anti-trans” Twitter account

The Hunterdon Central Regional Board of Education remains locked in controversy over an “anti-trans” Twitter account and the allegation that one of its own members is behind the account.

Attorney Ron Berutti (who represents the accused, Rebecca Petersen) has called the inquiry “a dystopian search for the identity of the anonymous Tweeter” and violative of the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment protections. He recently joined 1210 WPHT’s ‘The Matt Rooney Show’ (airing Sundays 7-10 PM EST) to explain the latest developments in a story that appears to go to the heart of the battle for control of the soul of America’s public schools.
