State Senator Nia Gill may be a Montclair Leftist, Save Jerseyans, but the black female Democrat legislator was at least willing to back bipartisan legislation to investigate nursing home deaths. She was also the ONLY Democrat vote against Murphy’s election “Transparency Act.”
For her trouble?
Democrat establishment forces through in behind ex-Governor Richard Codey (D-Roseland), an old white guy who has been in Trenton for nearly 50 years; he and Gill ended up in the same district after redistricting pitted the two veteran legislators against one another.
Codey led 2-to-1 as of 9:30 PM EST.
So much for woke!
