CRACKDOWN: Murphy underlings issue “guidance” coercing schools to display LGBTQIA+ symbols and provide pornographic books

This is a multi-front assault on parental rights, Save Jerseyans.

On Monday, mere days after the N.J. Attorney General’s Office announced lawsuits targeting three schools districts over their parental notification policies, both Platkin and Acting Department of Education (DOE) Commissioner Angelica Allen-McMillan issued joint “guidance” for schools amid what they describe as a “rising tide of bias and hate.”

In other words, the Murphy Administration plans to use the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (LAD) to force their far-Left ideology on your kids… in court, if necessary.

“Despite the LAD’s anti-discrimination principles, however, some school boards and legislators have recently introduced proposals in New Jersey and across the country to restrict classroom discussions and staff training about race, racism, gender, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation; to remove symbols or signs that express support for, or oppose bullying of, members of certain historically excluded groups; and to ban books by and about people of color and LGBTQIA+ people,” the pair complained in their accompanying statement.

What about a neutral stance?

Nope!

“School policies and practices may also violate the LAD even when they are cloaked in the language of neutrality,” the statement continues. “Thus, a policy that bans all flags and symbolic speech may be discriminatory if adopted with the purpose of sending a message of opposition to or exclusion of Black students, other students of color, the LGBTQIA+ community, or any other member of a protected class. A school district may also violate the LAD if it applies a facially neutral policy in a discriminatory manner. For example, a school district may violate the LAD if it applies a policy banning flags to remove posters supporting the LGBTQIA+ community from school grounds but not to remove other types of posters.”

What does it all mean? For you and your child and your favorite teacher?

Here’s an excerpt from their new hot-off-the-presses “guidance” which EVERY New Jersey parent and grandparent needs to see ASAP:

“…DCR and DOE encourage all New Jersey schools, school boards, and administrators to continue to develop and implement initiatives to counter bias; to continue to display inclusive markers, flags, and symbols in and around their buildings; to continue to ensure students have access to books representing a diversity of experiences and identities; and to continue to implement and comply with the state’s anti-bias curricula requirements regarding race, gender, LGBTQIA+, disability, and diversity. It is consistent with the LAD, for example, for classroom curricula to intentionally highlight Black history, for a teacher to display a LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual) safe zone sticker, or for a school library to include books and other materials that reflect the experiences and identities of children and families of all races, sexual orientations, and gender identities.” [Emphasis added.]

So this is not longer about “discrimination” at all, and don’t let them convince you this “guidance” is just a suggestion. They’re already suing three districts (including Murphy’s own town of Middletown) under a similar theory. Moving forward, the Murphy Administration is putting school districts in the position of needing to defend neutral acts. It’s not enough to require a gay child and a straight child be treated equally in the classroom; the Murphy Administration is outlawing anything other than active promotion of the LGBT-etc. agenda, because if you don’t comply, they’ll sue you and take away your state aid.

They’re also interpreting any efforts to restrict clearly pornographic books like Gender Queer in school libraries as a discriminatory act.

This is fucked up, folks. Objectively. It isn’t guidance… it’s a threat. Anyone with a shred of intellectual honesty can see what’s happening here. The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office has been weaponized, much the same as the DOJ/FBI/IRS have been at the federal level. Now the N.J. Department of Education is also formally getting in on the act.

Is the GOP willing to take on this fight? For our kids?
