Cold temperatures (well below 50 degrees, with a strong 15 MPH wind) didn’t stop around 100 hardcore #MAGA fans from sleeping on Wildwood’s expansive white sand beaches overnight Friday, Save Jerseyans, ahead of Saturday’s Trump 2024 beach rally.
15,000 to 20,000 are expected in the iconic beach resort. The gates open at Noon for general admission ticket holders (the event is ticket-only).
New Jersey is a reach for Trump in November (no Republican has carried the state since 1988), but a recent poll found him trailing Joe Biden here by only 5 points. What’s more, the Southern reaches of the Jersey Shore fall within the critical Philadelphia media market and Pennsylvania is obviously very much in play this year.
Save Jersey will provide live coverage this afternoon ahead of and during the speech (scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM EST) from on the ground in Wildwood…
