Congressman Jeff Van Drew (R, NJ-02) was one of the House Republican who had an opportunity to grill FBI Director Christopher Wray on Wednesday, Save Jerseyans, questioning among other things the embattled law enforcement agency’s hiring practices.
Wray, whose tenure began under President Trump on the recommendation of Chris Christie (a former Wray client during Bridgegate), has been criticized for bringing DEI and woke hiring practices to the FBI under his tenure which have compromised agent quality.
“I’ve gotta wonder how how many qualified people were passed in order for Director Cheatle to get her 30% quota,” noted Van Drew, referring to the ex-Secret Service director and noting that the FBI personnel statistics ranging from physical fitness to mental health are all down on Wray’s watch.
