Kelsey Grammer wears anti-offshore wind sticker during North Wildwood visit

Fraiser is no fan of offshore wind, Save Jerseyans.

The movie star and sitcom legend visited North Wildwood this weekend for the annual Irish Fall Festival which was expected to attract over 250,000 visitors. Grammer was also seen sporting a ‘Stop Offshore Wind’ sticker, a reference to the Jersey Shore’s ongoing fight to stop Murphy and Biden-backed offshore wind development from destroying the regional economy.

Grammer panned offshore wind during a recent interview on Dom Giordano’s 1210 WPHT radio program. In 2013, he told tabloid magazine TMZ that he had lost a significant investment betting on offshore wind.

“I’m okay, but I didn’t make up for it. It’s just one of those things that’s just a straight loss,” Grammer explained at the time. “You’d think it would be lucrative, but it’s not really a friendly environment for new technology, it really isn’t.”

The foreign company Orsted abandoned a wind farm project off of the Cape May County coast last October amid a sustained legal battle, but about eight months later, the Biden Administration approved a new project off of Atlantic County.

A veteran of screen, tv and stage, Grammer’s second season of a Frasier reboot just dropped on Paramount Plus last week.
