N.J. Republicans closed the registration gap by another 3.6k in September

New data from the State of New Jersey shows Republicans continuing their post-2020 trend of closing the formerly million vote plus registration gap with Democrats.

The state added 25,500 unaffiliated voters, 4,533 Democrats, and 8,138 Republicans in September 2024. Democrats still boast an over 900,000 registered voter edge statewide edge, but that’s tens of thousands of voters less than the majority party’s advantage when Donald Trump left office.

Meanwhile, in battleground NJ-07 where GOP incumbent Tom Kean Jr. is attempting to hold off a challenge from verified lunatic Sue Altman, Republicans gained 753 registrants in the district to Democrats’ 605.

A Republican hasn’t carried the state in a presidential election since 1988, but new data from Rasmussen Reports shows the GOP nominee in single-digit territory in the Garden State.
