New Jersey’s first day of Election 2024 early voting saw long lines across the state in both “blue” and “red” communities.
The early turnout seemed to reflect a robust national turnout as one of the most intense presidential contests in modern times winds down.
For example, by mid-afternoon on Saturday, there was a 2.5 hour wait at Rowan College in Sewell (Gloucester County).
Similarly long waits were reported from Middletown and Howell to New Brunswick and Jersey City.
