SHOCK: Republicans lead N.J. in-person early voting

Get ready for this…

Democrats continue to dominate vote by mail by a nearly 3-to-1 margin, Save Jerseyans, but Republicans have embraced early voting this year in record numbers. Long lines have been observed across the state since early voting began on Saturday in New Jersey and that’s especially true of “red” areas.

This epic turnout – which features plenty of low propensity voters – could help cut deeply into Democrats’ traditional federal cycle edge in the Garden State. For example, in battleground NJ-07, Republicans trail Democrats by 27-points with vote by mail but lead on the machines by 16-points.

As of Tuesday? Republicans actually led Democrats in statewide in person early voting despite an over 900,000 Democrat registration advantage.
