One of the many issues on the ballot this November, Save Jerseyans, is the fate of offshore wind. Kamala Harris would likely continue to use the power of the federal government to advance the industrialization of our coasts including the Jersey Shore. Donald Trump? Not so much.
During last week’s marathon three-hour interview with Joe Rogan, the former president and 2024 GOP nominee declared his interest in serving as a “whale psychiatrist” since the majestic marine mammals have been terrorized by wind turbines.
“They say that the wind drives ’em crazy,” said Trump. “You know it’s a vibration because you have those things that 50-story building.”
“The wind is rushing. The things are blowing. It’s a vibration and it makes noise,” Trump continued, adding that “I wanna be a whale psychiatrist. It drives the whales fricking crazy. And something happens with them, but for whatever reason, they’re getting washed up onshore and you know, they’re ignored by these environmentalists. But they don’t talk about it.”
