National Democrats finally decided to invest $4 million in a last minute ad campaign for NJ-07’s Sue Altman. A sign of confidence after ignoring her for most of the cycle? I doubt it, Save Jerseyans. As Donald Trump rises in the polls and threatens to (maybe) win the popular vote for the first time in 20 years for a GOP nominee, I think Democrats are hunting for opportunies…
Republicans aren’t taking the late-October assault lying down.
The Congressional Leadership (CLF) fund announced ad buys in six districts over the weekend including NJ-07 where Tom Kean Jr. is working to hold off Altman’s challenge.
“With ten days to go, we’re making sure voters know the truth about Democrats’ extreme agenda as we push toward Election Day,” said CLF Communications Director Courtney Parella.
Republicans are cautiously optimistic; while sources say Republican internal polling has continued to show a low-single digit race, GOP voters out-voted Democrats in-person over the weekend by double-digits.
