The insincerity of Democrat protestations concerning Jeff Sessions and the Russian Ambassador should be obvious to even causal observers (especially given the fact that a large number of them ALSO met with him), but if it’s not, all you need to do is consider the credibility of the senior senator from New Jersey who, in case you’ve forgotten, is ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee….
….and presently under a multi-count federal indictment for selling favors.
That didn’t stop “Hudson Bob” Menendez (D-Dominican Republic, Ecuador) from questioning Donald Trump’s and Jeff Sessions’s credibility on Twitter last week:

It takes balls of pure steel to question someone else’s integrity, let alone a former colleague, when a DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT’S JUSTICE DEPARTMENT (can’t blame Republicans for that one, Bob) investigated and indicted you.
