Former Representative John Adler has undergone an emergency heart surgery after contracting staph bacterial endocarditis. While Save Jersey clearly opposed his bid for reelection last year, a condition like this can be life threatening and rises well above political differences. We wish Mr. Adler a speedy recovery and send our prayers to him and his family and would ask you to do the same. His opponent in 2010, Congressman Jon Runyan, expressed a similar sentiment on his Facebook page today.

Seems a tad disingenuous Brian. You and this whole site were relentless not only before the election, but after it as well. You criticized him both politically and personally and now you offer prayers. Very hypocritical. John Runyon, to his credit, didn't attack him as relentlessly as you did. Him, I believe. You, not so much.
