Revised DNC Speaker Schedule – Tuesday, Sept. 4th

Cory Booker: Ruled by the Blue Twitter Bird and Obama's White House

Today is the first full day of events at the Democrat National Convention in Charlotte, NC. The day’s speakers kick off at 5:00PM and end with Michelle Obama sometime close to 11:00PM, if you’re into that sort of thing.

The Democrats are likely hoping to catch some of the praise that Ann Romney received from her speech by putting the First Lady out there. I wouldn’t expect to hear that from any outlet other than MSNBC tonight. While Ann Romney and even Mitt Romney have been relative unknowns to the American people for a long time, Michelle Obama is someone that everyone can be familiar with, no one will be surprised by, and everyone will sense insincerity from.

Additionally, Cory Booker is getting an early speaking slot tonight. Which just goes to show you that if you trade in your principles and dignity, you can get a featured speaking spot at the DNC.

Just not a great spot. 6:00PM is certainly not prime time!
