Christie delivers pep talk to House Frosh

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

Freshman orientation is still underway down in Washington, D.C., Save Jerseyans, and House Republicans were treated to a 90-minute pep talk from Governor Chris Christie which, according to Congressman-elect Tom MacArthur, brought the membership to its feet (h/t NorthJersey.com):

“We talked about the importance of winning and then governing, simple as that,” MacArthur aid [sic]. “Don’t gloat. Get the job done that the people sent us here to do.”

Gov. Christie will spend the rest of his week huddled with RGA donors and advisers in sunny, beautiful, not-at-all-cold Boca Raton, Florida. I’ve never hated him more…

  1. Geezzz, I figured with the elections over he’d stay in NJ…you know, where he is the Governor for a while…but guess not.

  2. He told them to work together with Democrats. He does realize that the voters didn’t flip the Senate to work together with Dem plans to further expland gov’t, right?

  3. NJ election flipped the governor not to work with the Dem’s but Christie never got the messege and gives them every judge they want ……
