On Wednesday, Save Jerseyans, Gov. Chris Christie reiterated for a full house at Tommy’s Country Ham House in Greenville, South Carolina, that he considers those in D.C. opposing a Patriot Act renewal to be little better than jokers.

Now, you know, I know government has done a lot of things poorly over time – believe me, a lot of things poorly. But one of the things we’ve done well in the last 13 years has been protecting this homeland and now these jokers down there want to change it – because they got a theory. Well I have real life practice and we need to enhance our intelligence operation. It is a tough, dangerous, dirty world out there everybody, and there are people who want to kill Americans just because we’re American and because we stand up for liberty and freedom for everyone around the world, not just ourselves. And if you think those folks are going to play by some nice set of rules, then you are kidding yourselves. And we make ourselves more vulnerable. So we need to enhance our intelligence operations and we need to make sure that the president fulfills the first duty of the presidency, which is to protect the lives and the safety of the American people.”

Is Save Jersey ever going to call him out on his constant shifting on individual rights. He has been a blatant force against self defense and many other pro gun laws in our State. He fails to support the right of the individual as a citizen in NJ, but yet now comes out on the natinonal stage to talk about programs he is so far removed from it isn’t even funny.
