Here’s more fuel for the fire over a controversial North Jersey casino proposal, Save Jerseyans:
A concept rendering from today’s Hard Rock-led presser promoting the project for a 5,000 slot machine, 200 gaming table gaming facility…
“We’re thrilled to bring this great offering to the New Meadowlands Racetrack,” said Jeff Gural, Chairman of New Meadowlands Racetrack LLC and a donor with ties to key decision makers including Senate President Steve Sweeney. “With its expertise in gaming, hotels, restaurants, live events, entertainment, and retail offerings, Hard Rock International is the ideal partner for New Meadowlands Racetrack, bringing the globally recognized brand to the racetrack elevates excitement surrounding the project.”

I live a few short miles from the Meadowlands. I’m sure I’ll be Impressed with the increase in Traffic. LOL!
Awesome! Can’t wait!
More riff raff for the taxpayers to support.
Not really…
Sin tax more money for schools right. How much is this going to cost the average tax payer?
I mean if it wasn’t funded by the taxpayers it would be great.
Awesome…so much disposable income around these days. I’m sure this will be a hit
Hard Rock runs a great property – good luck
I give 60 days from opening day to report first murder there.
Nope

This is what happens when our politicians don’t give a damn about anyone or anything that lies south of Exit 82 of the parkway…….

NO STOP. THE SOONER THE BETTER . GAMBLING IN NORTH JERSEY. CLOSE THIS SMELLY SLUMY( ATLANTIC CITY) FOREVER. IN A FEW SHORT YRS. MAYBE 4 casino’s left iN ATLANTIC CITY..EVERYONE HERE IN SOUTH JERSEY, KNOWS WHAT THIEVES AND LIARS ATLANTIC CITY POLITICIANS ARE. THE SOONER ATLANTIC CITY BECOMES A SMELLY DISTANT MEMORY. THE BETTER. I.LOVE THE 4 CLOSED ALREADY. THAT ARE STILL CLOSED. LOOOKING FORWARD I HOPE TO 2 , MORE IN SEPTEMBER. TAJ & BALLYS.
I don’t know how this works… From the Atlantic ocean to the marshes of Bergen County??? And why the heck should a part of the revenue go to Atlantic City?? If this endeavor proves to operate in the black, why should the management funnel cash to the failed and crumbling Atlantic City? Competition put them out of business. Its a competitive world out there. Go ask Coke and Pepsi. If PepsiCo has a good year, should they send some of their hard earned proceeds to the Coke Corp. I don’t think so!! Let Atlantic City re-invent itself absent of our hard earned tax dollars here in Bergen County
Business, commerce, capitalism!!!
