Kim Guadagno has spoken, Save Jerseyans.
“I have made my views known to (the governor’s) staff. I do not believe in any increase in taxes for any reason. The answer is no,” Guadagno told N.J. 101.5 Radio’s Bill Spadea early Thursday morning after the host asked her to weigh in on last week’s passage of a 23-cent hike.
Her boss, Governor Christie, strongly supported the compromise legislation but has yet to sign it for as-of-yet explained reasons despite the legislation’s allegedly urgent purpose.

Guadagno kept her feelings about the bill largely private in the run-up to the vote, attracting criticism from Spadea and others.
She’s considered the early Republican establishment favorite for next year’s gubernatorial race.
Asm. Jack Ciattarelli, who launched his own campaign for the 2017 GOP nomination last week, voted against the 23-cent gas tax bill.
