Fresh off of a win in the State Senate, Iowa’s Des Moines Register is reporting that Governor Christie has agreed to appear at a July event in the Hawkeye State.
The Governor is pretty clearly continuing to keep his options wiiiide open for 2012 2016, Save Jerseyans. That strategy is 100% contingent on President Obama winning a second term, of course. A lot of Republicans act like that’s a foregone conclusion, so much so that it may prove to be a self-fulfilling prophesy. In the interim, Christie will still be the only Republican besides Sarah Palin who can induce mass hysteria among the media corps while exerting virtually no effort.
