If you’re anything like me, Save Jerseyans, then you love a good electoral calculator. I would’ve done significantly better in math class had I enjoyed regular calculators half as much.
With the presidential election less than 12 months away, I found a good new one and wanted to share with you.
Head to 270towin.com and make your own projections. This site also allows you to look backwards to presidential results from the beginning of the Republic.
Note: John McCain won 173 electoral votes in 2008. If “Rickomnichcain” wins the exact same states as McCain in 2012, the GOP ticket would begin the night with 6 more electoral votes – 179 – than ’08 due to the 2010 census data. For example, our own Garden State is down to 14 votes from 15 last time around.
Good blog! I really love how it is simple on my eyes and the data are well written. I'm wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I've subscribed to your RSS which must do the trick! Have a great day!
