Ever since Chris Christie famously accused Tom Moran of having “thin-skin,” liberal detractors have reflexively fired back at the popular New Jersey Governor by calling him a rotten, no good bully. So why have there been virtually zero postmortem references to the role that the GOP’s #1 verbal noogie-dispenser played in Mitt Romney’s squeaker Iowa victory? Where are the legions of linguini-spined socialists accusing him of strong-arm tactics? When will the labor unionista begin chanting “meanie!” at his Romney stump speech stops?
You’ve undoubtedly seen this clip by now shot only days before the Iowa caucus. WARNING: the easily intimated, bed wetters, mouth breathers, boogeyman believers and general purpose cowards may find this footage extremely disturbing…

Oh! I have chills, and not the kind Chris Matthews experiences after listening to Dreams from My Father the book tape. Governor Romney did go on to win Iowa by only 8 votes, folks. I’m sure at least 8 people soiled their dockers after hearing the Governor’s warning! Right? You heard that chilling warning! Then why are the defenders of the oppressed at NEA and ACLU headquarters sitting idly by while terrified GOP primary goers vote ‘Romney’ under Soprano-style duress?
I guess it’s okay for Governor Christie to “bully” Republicans but not non-Republicans?
He’s headed to New Hampshire today… looks like Save Jersey needs to step into the breach. I’m considering creating a standardized form for Republican primary voters in order to chronicle the Governor’s thuggish, hurtful, alarming advocacy. Lengthy forms and anonymous “report bullying” boxes are already cropping up at schools around the Garden State after our ludicrous new anti-bullying law went into effect. Base Republicans should have a way to report bullies, too, as they journey to their local VFW hall to select a 2012 nominee.
