Do you smell that, Save Jerseyans?
It’s the nauseating stench of more cooked national polls in President Obama’s favor!
On Wednesday, I examined the latest Ipsos/Reuters poll that significantly oversampled Democrats; in fact, the Ipsos folks inexplicably assumed Democrats would out-vote Republicans in 2012 by a larger percentage than what we witnessed in 2008.
An unlikely occurrence no matter how Obama does!
Yesterday we also got a brand new Associated Press poll that assumes Democrats will compromise a full 49% of the electorate in 2012 compared to only 37% for the GOP. A 12-point gap! Again, in 2008, the electorate was 39% DEM to 32% GOP according to available exit polling. Interestingly, this poll from the notoriously-biased AP surfaced just as Mitt Romney was poised to overtake the President in RCP’s rolling average of national polling.
Coincidence? You be the judge! Sure looks fishy to me…
