Romney Returns to New Jersey on August 8th

Mitt Romney is returning to New Jersey in two weeks for another high dollar fundraising gala.

It promises to be another profitable evening, Save Jerseyans.

The big event is scheduled for August 8, 2012 in the Ocean County community of Lakewood. The host committee is co-chaired by none other than Ocean GOP Chairman and powerbroker George Gilmore and prominent Jersey Shore attorney and philanthropist Lawrence E. Bathgate III.

Fundraiser tickets range from $1,000 for general admission to the reception all the way up to $25,000 for a number of perks including admittance to a private dinner with Governor Romney.

He never leaves here empty handed.

Thus far in 2012, the Romney camp’s new financial advantage was aided by $4,167,899 raised from New Jersey donors (or a little less than 3% of his total national take at the end of the 2nd Quarter). Only eight states have yielded more cash for the Republican nominee this cycle: (1) California, (2) New York, (3) Florida, (4) Texas, (5) Massachusetts, (6) Connecticut,  and (7) Illinois and (8) Virginia. New Jersey’s current FEC total does NOT, however, include the millions of dollars that Governor Chris Christie has raised on the road for his endorsee. Nor does that amount include so-called “super pac” cash raised in the Garden State.
