The new Shelley Adler for Congress TV Ad, titled “Wrap Up Show” by her campaign, is right out of the old liberal “scare seniors into voting Democrat” playbook.
And if I didn’t know better, Save Jerseyans, I’d assume Adler had hired consultants from The Onion to produce her spots…

What makes all of this particularly annoying is Adler’s disturbing ability to maintain contradictory positions on many key issues — simultaneously. For example, she is attacking Jon Runyan for Medicare reforms proposed by the GOP presidential ticket. What her TV ad doesn’t tell voters is that she has refused to support ObamaCare’s repeal (despite saying she wouldn’t have voted for it?); Obama’s signature health care legislation will cannibalize $716 billion from Medicare over the next 10 years.
I’ve called her out on this particular point before, folks, but the Adler campaign is still out there making stuff up as they go along…
