@GovChristie: “I Wish OLS Would Stop Playing Politics” (VIDEO)

Whether or not you agree with Governor Chris Christie’s general approach to budgeting and his income tax cut plan, Save Jerseyans, you can’t deny that the Big Guy has a point about OLS revenue predictions…

…they’re all over the place.

Yesterday, New Jersey’s Office of Legislative Services (OLS) released a new report to legislators predicting that FY 2012 revenue collections would fall $253.9 million short of the Governor’s projections. The problem with OLS’s latest guesstimate? OLS said it would be a $542 million shortfall just last month.

So what gives? Why does OLS continue to project revenues without, as Governor Christie correctly notes in the Haddonfield presser video below, receipts from five FY 2012 taxes? He has a theory, and it’s not flattering…
