Looking Ahead…Can We PLEASE Work Together To Rejuvenate Our Great Nation?

Today is a sad day for Republicans, my fellow Save Jerseyans.

I woke up feeling very depressed, but still grasping onto the slim chance that in my foggy haze of partial sleep last night, I somehow misheard the election results.  AP Mobile confirmed that I DID hear correctly after all.

So, I could use this opportunity to vent my anger and disappointment in the Obama supporters and make a boatload of snarky comments about how they have their heads buried in the sand about the state of our nation, Obama’s true agenda (still yet to be determined and delivered upon) and how they probably couldn’t even defend their decision to re-elect him with concrete and meaningful facts.

But the reality is that it is not going to change our situation.  I believe that in some cases ignorance is bliss.  However, in the case of the presidency, ignorance is COSTLY…..for everyone.

OK, OK, enough lamenting.  I want you to turn your frowns upside DOWN!!!!

Because even after such a disappointing turn of events, we now need to be more focused than ever in support of our elected officials, to drive forward the need to compromise and work across the aisles in order to make effectual changes in our society.

Watching Romney’s concession speech was bittersweet for me.  Although he was so gracious, it upset me because it really showed me what our great country is going to be missing over the next four years.  It also elicited feelings of hope for our future.  I believe his words were honest and genuine, and that he puts faith in our leadership to bring us out of the depths of discord.  Time will tell if this will be the case, but right now, all we can do is hope.

This past week has presented a multitude of challenges for New Jersey.  Thankfully, we have a strong like-minded leader who is working tirelessly to rescue and protect the people of our state.

Let’s continue to hold tight to our values and ideals, and be optimistic that the federal government will ultimately come together to do the same for us.

Jersey STRONG, baby!

  1. If you haven't purchased shoes in the recent past it would be a good idea to measure your feet before buying basketball shoes. The average child will outgrow their shoes quickly. Yet your shoe size can change even as an adult, when you may assume you've finished growing. When you purchase your basketball shoes in an athletic supply store, they will have the capability to measure your feet before you buy. Your basketball shoes need to fit like a glove. The proper fit of a shoe does not allow any sort of room for slippage.

Now that you know the several suggestions from this article, your next pair of basketball shoes should fit you just right. Just as an extension of your body, that is what your shoes should feel like.
