Five other nominees were approved by the State Senate earlier today.

Whether that movement was representative of a true thaw in the ongoing judicial deadlock between the Governor and Senate Democrats or, alternatively, an election year attempt to cast their actions in a cloak of reasonableness still remains to be seen.

I’m always a pessimist whenever progress hinges on the reasonableness of Trenton Democrats, folks… my opinion will change when the Governor’s outstanding Supreme Court nominees receive a full and fair Judiciary Committee hearing.
